The APR is the report DESE issues following its MO School Improvement Program (MSIP) 5 evaluation of all public schools in Missouri. MSIP 5 is an accountability system that began in 1990 and entered its fifth cycle in 2013. The ultimate goal of MSIP 5 is to graduate all students ready for success in college and careers, while promoting continuous improvement. THhe APR reports presents scores in five areas using status, growth, and progress to calculate a comprehensive score in each. The five scored areas are academic achievement, subgroup achievement, college and career readiness, attendance rate, and graduation rate.
Following the MSIP evaluation, APR’s are issued for all public school districts and the individual buildings in those districts. As a district, Maryville earned a 95.7%. Eugene Field earned a 100%; the middle school earned a 94.3%, and the high school earned a 94.6%. All of these are exceptional scores.
