MMS 6th grade celebrated the completion of the D.A.R.E program last Friday with a fun day of pizza, movies, and dodge ball! Shout out to our MR2 School Resource Officers, Myers and Staples, for teaching our youth the importance of making good choices, and throwing this awesome celebration!
MMS 5th grade students visited the National World War I Museum and Memorial in Kansas City today! We are fortunate to have such a wonderful program so close to us. We had an informative morning and relaxing lunch on their beautiful grounds.

Ms. Lydon was honored today during an all-school assembly in a surprise presentation she never saw coming. Family and friends traveled to be there for the moment, and students filled the gym with handmade signs to cheer on the principal who works tirelessly for each and every one of them.
Ms. Lydon's commitment to building a safe, supportive, and high-achieving environment at Maryville Middle School is reflected every day in the work of our students and staff. Mary leads our maintenance team with dedication, professionalism, and pride. She consistently keeps our building clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. Beyond her primary responsibilities, Mary willingly goes above and beyond what is expected of her role. She assists with washing uniforms, helps serve breakfast and lunch, monitors student behavior, hangs materials for teachers, paints, and continually works to keep our building looking fresh and inviting. We are grateful for everything Mary does for MMS. 💚🤍💚
