About Us
For Students
For Parents
Keeping your students healthy and safe is our priority. To accomplish this, we need your help. Please notify the school of any health changes throughout the year. Students must be fever, vomit, and diarrhea free for 24 hours before returning to school.
If your student has Asthma, Seizures, Diabetes, or Sting/ Food Allergy, their Action Plan needs to be updated annually with their physician's signature. If your student requires daily medication, a parent/guardian must bring it to the office.
We are available during school hours, Monday- Friday. Please feel free to contact us at 660-562-2036
Health Screenings
Vision and hearing screenings will be done according to current Missouri Department of Health guidelines. If you do NOT want your child screened, you will need to notify us.
Medication Administration
The school is happy to assist students who need medication at school. Most medications, even if needed three times a day, can be given at home. In the event a student needs medication at school, the medication must be in the original container labeled by the pharmacy or physician and brought to school by an adult. Children are not allowed to carry medication at school outside of carrying epinephrine, insulin, and asthma inhalers. You may have the pharmacist prepare another container to be kept here at school. A permission form must also be filled out by the parent/guardian prior to medication administration. These forms are located at the school or on the school nurse's website. The 1st dose of any medication will not be given at school. Any medications remaining at the end of the school year will be destroyed if not picked up by a parent or guardian.
